Baseball (position player) — Jesse Munsterman, Buena Vista University, St. Peter, Minn. / St. Peter
Munsterman, a freshman outfielder, hit .643 and slugged .786 as the Beavers went 2-2 in four games last week. He set a career high with three hits in the first game of a 3-game IIAC weekend series with Coe March 30, and then matched in the series finale March 31. He was also 2-for-4 with four RBI in a 19-4 win over Bethany Lutheran March 27. He led the team in batting average during the week while matching the team-high for hits with nine. Munsterman saw his season batting average jump from .250 to .370 as the week progressed.
