PLEASE NOTE: Participation in tryouts is MANDATORY for being placed on a team (medical and family emergencies are the only exceptions).

 

10 Year-old Tryouts

We will be forming three teams (AAA, AA, &  A) at the 10 year-old level in 2023.   The dates and times for the 10 year-olds are as follows:

11 Year-old Tryouts

We will be forming three teams (AAA, AA, & A) at the 11 year-old level in 2023.   The dates and times for the 11 year-olds are as follows:

14 Year-old Tryouts

We will be forming three teams (AAA, AA, A) at the 14 year-old level in 2023.  New in 2023 the teams will participate in weekend tournaments only.   We will carry 12 players per teams.  To be considered for one of these teams you must participate in the tryout process.  The dates and times for the 14 year-olds are as follows:

15/16 Year-old (VFW) Tryouts

We will be forming two VFW teams at the 15/16 year-old level.  The teams will be formed on a AAA/AA basis.  The teams will have league play and participate in weekend tournaments.   Tryouts are not conducted at this age level.  The tryout process will be based on school ball performance, past Royals performance and from VFW Coaches observations.

15/16 Year-old (Jr Legion) Tryouts

We will be forming two Jr Legion teams at the 15/16 year-old level.  The teams will league play and participate in weekend tournaments.   Tryouts are not conducted at this age level.  These teams will be formed based on an East/West split.  Players not attending East/West will be placed on a team based on their address.  The tryout process will be based on school ball performance, past Royals performance and from VFW Coaches observations.

American Legion Tryouts

We will be forming two teams (American (East) and National(West)) at the American Legion level.  The teams will participate in league play and weekend tournaments.   The teams are formed based based on the East/West school boundaries. Tryouts are not conducted at this age level.  The teams are formed based on past participation and high school game observation by the travel committee and Legion coaches.  We will carry up to 18 players on each roster.
