It's not letting me send a message so here it is.
I seriously can't believe how well the kids are doing in T-ball this year. Each and every game I see drastic improvement from the week before. I am encouraged by the hustle in and out of the dugout and the willingness of the kids to throw the ball to second to try to get the lead runner.
I really appreciate the kids arriving early. It allows us to get some great practice in on fundamentals and understanding the game rules. On Monday we are going to work on calling the ball if it's in between two players. Sometimes we wrestle for it, and while I like the aggressiveness, sometimes it's good to defer to your teammates.
