Mankato Area Youth Baseball Association (MAYBA)

Welcome to the Mankato Royals Coaches page.  We anticipate forming a AAA, AA and A team at all ages 10-15 (or goal is to have two A teams for the 12 year-olds).  We will also have a AAA and AA team at the 16 year-old level.  For Legion baseball we will be forming an East (American) and a West (National) team. 

If you are interested in coaching a travel team this summer you will need to complete an application, attend a 15 minute interview, complete a background check and complete concussion training.  The travel committee will be conducting annual interviews of potential candidates in on January 5th and 6th at the Mayba Warehouse. 

REQUIREMENTS

• Must pass full background check (conducted prior to spring tryouts in March)
• Must have up-to-date concussion training
• Must participate in a 15 minute interview with the travel coach selection board.
• If you choose to interview, you are agreeing to coach for whatever level your child is assigned.
