Mankato Area Youth Baseball Association (MAYBA)

Registrations for 2024 summer ball will open on January 1, 2024.

In-House Program - All players must live within School District # 77 boundaries or attend a school within the District # 77 boundaries.  We MAY be able to make exceptions for teams in the in-house program depending on player numbers at that age and release from the player's local youth baseball organization.

Travel / Royals / VFW / Legion - Players must reside within the district boundaries for ISD #77 or attend a school within the ISD#77 boundaries.

Younger than playing level age as of May 1:  Your player may register to play with their peer group (school grade) if that places your player at an older playing level based on birth date ranges.  Player is only allowed to “play up” by one level.  Example – a player with a May 20, 20XX birthday does not fit into the 14-year old age range but his classmates (8th grade) play at the 14-year old level.  This player may register for the 14-year old level of play.

Please note when Regular In-House Registration closes, Late In-House Registration opens (space permitting) and a $10 late fee will be added to your registration costs.

Team development for ages 5-9 will, when possible, be done by school or neighborhood - depending on date of registration (first come first served) and how many coaches we have available for each age, school, and neighborhood.  When we have enough players for more than one team and we have multiple coaches available, coaches may assist with dividing out these teams.

Team development for ages 10-13 will be done by ability based on prior year evaluations in order to make the teams as equal as possible. At these ages, players are not placed by school or neighborhood.  Coaches do assist with dividing out teams at this age.
