State Tournament Qualifying Team
Congratulations to the 11 Yr Old Maroon Instructional Team -
they have qualified for a state tournament!
We are adding an “Instructional League” for 2009. This will have teams that will compete in two tournaments in June. These players will also play on regular in-house teams, and have additional practices for their Instructional League team. This will give these players a taste of the travel program, with higher competition. This is a great way to build our Mankato baseball program and help our players improve their skills.
The teams will depend on the number of players interested. Ages might be combined to put teams together. Practice will be emphasized. The Instructional Team will have different players/coaches/uniforms from the in-house team.
Players must play in the in-house league, and cannot be on a full travel team. The additional cost for this team is $120 above the regular base fee for the in-house program. We will be looking for coaches interested in coaching these teams.
